SOURCE: car keeps running after key is removed. Taking out

This sounds like the ignition switch is sticking/hanging & allowing the engine to continue to run. When you put the fuse back in, do the ignition lights come on, if so, then that should definitly be the problem.

You can try to wiggle the key from on to off several times when you shut it off to do further testing & you may see that it will shut off that way. More proof it's the switch.

2002 f350 will not shut off with key. with key removed dash lights stay on and engine continues to run must pull injector relay to shut down. the dash lights stay on as if you turned the key to accesory...

ok well this is where you might be incorrect... either you have a 12 volt wire bleeding scross or you have a bad ignition switch. the run wire off the ignition switch is the only thing that will keep it running unless you have a remote start then of course that could keep the engine running. you might want to start by making sure the ignition switch is beaking the signal to the PCM.

When i turn the ignition switch off (in which i can pull-out the key), the engine still running, but will automatically turn-off after 5 or 7 minutes, what seems to be the problem of my pathfinder?

Sounds like you have a remote start module installed on your vehicle that's keeping it running without the key. Have you tried pressing the brake pedal, to shut off the vehicle, after removing the key from the ignition. That might do it.

My truck will continue to try and start after its already running. It acts as if i am holding the key in the start position even after i remove the key and shut the engine off. It keeps winding.

Sounds like the bendix or selenoid for the starter has worn out.BUT,for the starter to run after you turn off the key, that's just spooky.I'd bring it to a good mech.

It won't shut off

Sounds like a bad ignition switch. If you're able to turn the switch to the off postion and remove the key and the engine keeps running, the switch is bad and needs replacing. Hope this answers your question. Best of luck.
