Question about 2008 Ford Escape
The warning lights have come on and go off a few times. Took it in diagnostic reads P1260- Theft detected engine disabled (it didn't start 1 time before diagnostic done.) and the a few other "communications network error" found. and B1602-Pastive anti theft system" and code B1600-Pats ignition key transponder signal is not received" I have already tried using my spare key and thought that was it cause it was fine for 2 days. Can anyone tell me what this can be and what my next step should be? Or do I take it back to the dealer and have another diagnostic done and mayme they can figure it out?
I'm no mechanic and am only making a guess... could be your computer needs re-programed or one of the many fuses is bad.
