Question about 2005 Rover 75 1.8
The clutch is misbehaving sometimes gears engage sometimes not. If I pump it and /or engage with engine off it works mechanic already fitted 200 gbp worth of pipes to fix prob now tells me 300 more cos air is getting into clutch help pls and thank you
If gbp is what I believe it is, you have been terribly taken advantage of. Tell the chap to sell his tools and open up a fish n chips. Honestly, you have paid enough to have the problem fixed. It sounds like the hydraulics are failing and that's a mattervofca master and a slave cylinder with a piece of steel tubing connecting them. If you bleed the system and it works for a while you are getting air in the system. I would never pay for a car that wasn't fixed!
