2002 avalache A/C only comes out from the floor and front windshield

If you are using the old gear/cog and a new actuator, you should only have to hold the original part in place and install the new actuator. It can only be installed in one of two positions. One will be close and the other will be far out of range. Once the new actuator is installed on the original gear/cog that was held in place, continue to hold the assembly in towards the heater-a/c case and rotate it around until the mounting holes line up. Then perform a recalibration and all should be well.
Try a system recalibration and if it does not correct itself, the mode actuator is likely to be at fault. The part number is different for your truck and I have included a link to the product page.
Basic recalibtraion information can be found under "Recalibration" on the left side bar of this site.

How can I get better fuel con on my 2008 BT50 2.5

That's typical for one of these vehicles and some people are doing worse. Good luck doing better than 10 km to the litre.

A heavy vehicle (1500 +kgs) and 2.5 litre Turbo is not a recipe for terrific economy. The engine is always going to be working hard.

Aside from how you drive the BT50 the best way of achieving good economy is regular servicing of the vehicle. I would not recommend allowing a tuner mess with the engine's computer settings.

What some are doing is fitting much larger wheels and tyres thus changing the gearing in the vehicle. However the speedo will need to be recalibrated if you do this to make the speedo and the vehicle legal/roadworthy. This will give you more economy but you are increasing unsprung weight and your acceleration will obviously be reduced in a higher geared BT50 compared with the standard spec.
There are also legal limits in some juristictions on how larger you can go up on tyre size beyond the largest tyre fitted by the manufacturer on the model of vehicle.

After changing the battery in my dodge charger the sensors will not go off and the transmission wont switch is there something im supposed to do after changing the battery

The ESP system needs to be recalibrated after having the battery disconnected. Turn the steering wheel lock-to-lock a couple times. Should recalibrate it.

Air Conditioner or heat does not blow out of vents selected and not at all on the main upper vents. What's the fix?

You probably need recalibration of the HVAC controls. Disconnecting the battery will force it into a recalibration. Unfortunately that could be part of the problem. The recalibration tends to stick these actuators and a new actuator will be needed. I have disassembled the actuators before and rotated the gears until I hit a good spot when a part has not been available due to the time of day or day of the week. If you recently replaced your battery, or have had a dead battery, then had this problem, then you know what it is.
Good luck, i hope this helps.

The speedometer on my 1994 grand marquis reads too high

Hello, If there was any change in tires, that can contribute to speedometer error. If you have a Digital dash on your Mercury, sometimes the Alternator can affect the accuracy of the digital gauges.

You can get a free scan and charging system test at Autozone, Advance, and Oreillys autoparts stores. If you do not find any problems with the above items, then it is possible to have your Speedo recalibrated.

Look online for specialty shops in your area, sometimes Tire stores have the equipment. If this is a new vehicle to you, someone may have put in the wrong size speedometer gear before you bought it.

I hope these suggestions help you.

1998 subaru legacy, i messed around with my dash instruments to replace the bulbs now the needles for the rpm, and engine temp are sticking or not accurate. do i need replacement parts? or if i take it...

hi yeah sounds like you have bumped them out of calibration, sometimes when you move them back to normal position they will come right but other times you have to pull it out and get it recalibrated at an auto shop. Best bet would be get a quote for recalibration then a quote for a new speedo cluster from a parts dealer as that can be cheaper sometimes

Bigger tires...

Taller tire have more centrifugal force because they have more mass (weight). A body in motion tends to stay in motion. They also have a larger outer diameter therefore through all the weight to the out side of the tire. requiring more energy to accelerate and more energy to slow down than a smaller tire at the same speeds. This is why I would recommend up graded in your brakes and also lowering your gear ratio( numerically higher) if you are going to larger tires. A lower gear ratio will act as a torque multiplier which will get you moving faster up to speed and also adjust your speedometer to be more accurate.
When you go to larger tires your speedometer will be inaccurate because taller tire have large outer diameter. A taller outer diameter tire will travel farther per revolution than a smaller tire. This cause your engine speed to be lower with taller tires because your vehicles tires are moving slower do to it larger outer diameter.
There your vehicle can be re calibrated through the computer. 4wheel parts offers parts call true speed sensors which also recalibrate your speedometer accurately that is the way i would go. Also maybe up grade to larger master cylinder off a 1 ton Chevy and go with some drill and slotted rotors. You most likely will have better braking with these upgrades than you would stock. keep it safe!

Good luck and have fun.

Does anyone know what this means Transmission history P O 730

Have you changed tires and wheels to a different size? If so, that will cause a code to come up. The gear ratio is set as a value in your computer. If you change tire sizes that will cause this problem. You can have this recalibrated at your Pontiac dealer. Good luck! Phil
