Chassis number location

hi friend
The easiest place to find the VIN on your vehicle is right on the lower left corner of your dashboard. You should be able to read the number by looking through your windshield on the driver's side of your car. Check the driver's side door. The VIN might also belocated in the driver's side doorjamb or on the doorpost.

Ford e250 van running very poorly. Left engine bank has a place for two vacuum lines to be connected. Only one is present. Should there be two or just a plug on the open metal connection. Where do they...

There are four different engines that were installed in 2002 E350's. your question is very hard to answer without knowing which one you have.
The 8th digit in your VIN will identify exactly which engine you have.

V6-4.2L VIN code (2)
V8-4.6L SOHC VIN code (W)
V8-5.4L CNG VIN code (M)
V8-5.4L SOHC VIN code (L)

Vin location

The vin can be found in various locations. The best place to find it is by looking through the windshield on the drivers side usually in the lower corner. It can also be found on the build sticker on the drivers front door.

Your insurance card will also have the vin number on it as well as the title if either of those is handy.

Where is the enhine number

Count the VIN number from the left to the 8th place. That is your engine code. If you can't read the VIN through your windshield, then you can find it on your registration.

Recognizing ford models, namely 2000 explorer

Check the VIN plate in the lower left corner of the dash (driver side) and viewed from outside of truck through windshield. The 11th digit of the VIN should be a letter " Y " which indicates a model year 2000. The VIN number should also be on a label on the driver side door or B post.

Lost keys can i get a code from the owners manual to get a copy

not as far as I know, but I heard that you can use the V.I.N.# to get a new set of keys at a dealership, or other place. This is why my driving instructor recommends covering the visible V.I.N so a thief cannot do so. Hope this leads to a solution.
