Question about 1991 Buick Skylark
Last night on the way home I'd put the car in neutral when I'd have to stop and I didn't have problems accelerating. But sometimes before I tried that last night it would lack power accelerating than it would be fine. Like a tug feeling. Please any ideas?
I think I would check the fuel pressure and the maximum fuel pressure from the pump.
I would look to data if temp sensor , map, tps,
lack of power can be cause by many things
hope it helps

This happened to my 2001 Regal... There is a factory recall on the Catalytic Converter going bad. I had mine replaced with the recall and haven't had a problem since

it may be fuel injector wiring. since you have check the compression and the replaced the injector. it is time to take a look at the injector wires.

Check the mass air flow sensor (clean both heated wires with carb cleaner and Q-tip). Remember...cleaning does not always work...sometimes they are actually bad. Also check map sensor. Check for vacuum leaks at all hoses and fittings. If engine rpm drops sufficiently, engine vacuum will drop which may have caused a/c malfunction (controls work with vacuum signal) so I wouldn't worry about that 'till the run problem is dealt with.
