Question about 2005 BMW X5
My burglar Alarm goes off and on all night . It disturbs my neighbors. What do I do to resolve this problem?
The most common sensor that goes bad is the hood (bonnet) switch. Open the hood and look to the left of the microfilter housing. Circled in red is the switch (looks like a button). Unplug it and see if it solves your problem. You can leave it unplugged with no adverse affects.
