SOURCE: peugeot 406 Electric window

This seems very very common... I managed to frig one recently by joining two wires at the switch end together.. Without looking I can't tell you which, but it was simple logic to work it out.. Desparation made me try, but it took 10 mins. From (my sometimes lame) memory I think one of the grounds was missing, one of the pins will have no voltage on it relative to either ground or 12v, it'll be that one!
The car was wrote off about two weeks later, poor pug..

SOURCE: i have a peugeot 306 lx 2001. electric window not working?

if the right door window works: pull out the switch for the power windows, and try to change the switches between them, to see if the problem comes from there, if it works replace the bad switch, if still not working take out the door panel and take a look at the wiring to the motor, if all good then the motor is the problem. but it usually comes from the switch.

Wing mirrors will not adjust

Wing mirrors have a certain range of electrical adjustment. Manual adjustment by pushing with fingers can make electrical adjustment inoperative. The solution is to make finger adjustment to get back to the electrical range.

Is the power steering electric on my peugeout 207 53 plate

Dont know what year this is owing to some secret code here about a plate ?? earlier ones had a motor under the wing at the front and later renaults have a motor behind the dash if the later type then its expensive and dealer only job to change owing to the fact it needs dealer software to reset the straight ahead position .Very expensive bit of kit later ones well over a 1000 euros
