Mercedes A 160 201 model error code c1024 esp bas warning light

C1024 is for brake pad wear. They put sensors in the brake linings. Look at the brake pads, really low(1/8 inch or less) Get them replaced. Replaced them and still the code? first find another shop. Then have them check the wiring. This code has nothing to do with the PRNDL light.

Car pulls right, terrible grinding noise from front right.

TAKE IT BACK WHERE THEY DONE THE LAST LOT OF WORK and tell them to do the complete job again as it sounds like a con job to me as a wheel aligment should last for a year a least and the grinding is in the braking system and something must still be bent ,
Its still under warranty dont pay any more..

Very loud "rubbing " sound when driving only

you did damage to the wheel bearing i bet it sounds like a airplane sound. also if you steering wheel is off 7"then have front end aligned because this will destroy the tires and they will make noise.
