I am taking my vehicle honda odessey 2004 tomorrow to put in a compressor. Can anyone tell me how much would the labor charge be. I bought the compressor already. Thank you

All you can really do is phone shops in your area for estimates.
Labour book says 3 hours just for the compressor change.
Removing and refilling the system is extra time.

I was told that I needed a new compressor & clutch, new drier or accumulator, new fixed orfice tube and retro fit kit, remove old freon, install new. What is a reasonable price for this work on my

If you bought the parts yourself, $300 plus labor.
Depending on labor rates, I would guess add another $250.
Tack on a profit for the parts and misc. = $700 out the door.
Shop around and make sure the compressor is warrantied for at least a year.

What is the price to have an air compressor put in a 1997 Buick LeSabre

Hello deb683
The dealer cost for the compressor is $626.05
The autozone cost is between $200.00+$300.00 (
I don't know the current salvage yard rate, but I'll guess between $100.00+$150.00 for a good one. Book labor is 0.9hrs
The cost to evacuate and recharge the system with R134 is extra and
prices vary. I't will be cheaper to have it done by the shop that installs
the compressor as they have to evacuate the system anyway.
Hope this helps.

Need to remove clutch from air conditioner compressor

You are better off replacing the whole compressor.
The special tools required, and the risk of possible
damage to the compressor, along with the extra labor
involved, make a used or rebuilt unit the way to go.
This is how most repair shops resolve a bad a/c clutch problem. Hope I was helpful.

Ac clutch does not get power checked fuses and relays all look good. it will click if i jump power is there a known probleml. car sat for a year

Yep your Compressor clutch has gone bad.
You can either change the whole compressor, or just have the clutch changed on the compressor.
You are better off having the whole compressor changed; by the time you pay the labor to have it taken out, clutch changed, and reinstalled, you could have just paid for the new A/C compressor.
