My problem is a truck

sounds like a chassis number
the vin plate may be in the door opening on a door pillar
take the chassis number to a service dealer and they should be able to track it back to a vin number and build date

Yes their is ,it has a chassis number stamped into the frame somewhere but offhand i cannot remember where it is ,i know this because i imported one into spain some years ago and nothing can be done without a chassis number stamped into the chassis ,be it a car - truck-bike ,every year on the inspection we have to have they always check the chassis number regardless ,seem to remember it being underneath near the rear lower arm forks but at my age i cannot even remember what i had for breakfast .

The VIN number is behind the windscreen on the lower left corner. Some also have it inside the glove box. American and Mexican made Hummers do not have a chassis number as such.

This will be from rust in the chassis or someone has used your chassis number to re register a stolen vehicle . If that is the case report the matter to the local law agency or you may run into trouble later on

The chassis number usually stamped on the right side engine firewall, on the upper portion and the other one is on the right side rear end chassis skeletal.

Short answer is no.
The VIN number is usually on a small plate attached to main chassis, often on the side of the bike.
The Chassis number is usually found stamped/etched into the chassis on or around the steering pipe (the forward most point of the actual chassis frame). This can be hard to see but it should be there.
The Engine number is often found stamped/etched into the top of the bottom end of the engine, Sometimes near the oil cap.

They are two totally different frames. The 2200 is a Mazda sourced vehicle while the 2500 is Ford sourced, based on the Ranger pickup.
