Question about GMC Jimmy
I have a 96 gmc jimmy 4x4 with 4.3 v6 the pcm wire came unplugged while the battery was still hooked up i plugged it back up and now wont start any suggestions?
I don't know what you mean by, "I plugged it back up". Did you mean that the harness unplugged or that a wire came out of the plug? Inspect the fuse-box. Look for a blown fuse. You can try disconnecting the battery for 30 seconds. If the stock stereo has the anti-theft feature, remember to disable it first. If a wire did in fact break away then you will need to do more than just push the wire back into place. Please write back with any questions or status, good luck.

if you do not have auto 4x4 try resetting the 4x4 computer by pulling the courtesy lamp and the ATC fuse for 1 minute. then reinstall fuses then cycle key on and off 5 times. please rate this answer.

look under the front of your blazer, just below the bumper, and you will see a little access door in the plastic guard. Open this door, and you will find your oil filter.
