Engine code 2181 enhanced dtc for 2004 vw beetle 2.0 turbo


it is problem with cooling,check if two fans are running with airco on,
if yes,check codes again,look at freeze frame data,
look for temp and time indication,with engine temp and rpm,
if temp is not high,check fan motors resistance,
one broken with ohm too high?

The airco system has completely stop working. The 4 position switch only work on number 4 and bring outside air (not airco) into the cabine


check fuses first - if ok.
check for refrigerant in A/C - if ok.
check switch and wires - it may be bad.

Ford Taurus 2000 airco and fan works but no air comes inside the air.


have you cleaned or replaced your in cabin air filter? check your owners manual for directions.

Whenever I turn on my ac in the car I get a misty oily smell through my airco vents so I decided to turn the climate control switch to red for a few seconds to see what that did after I switched it back to...


When you run your AC, turn if off before you end your trip. You're having it on which builds up mildew. Then when you leave your car there, it stays in the vents. When you turn the car back on, that's the smell you get. Not to mention you should not ever turn your car on with the AC enabled. That's going to cause strain on the initial start of your vehicle that could lead to later complications.

I got a wasp trapped in the Dychronous thermo-sift on the top shaft of my Chevy '76 Tubala. Can't reach it with a hanger or pump it off with Squaz-blo! WTF am i gonna do??


well may i suggest another toke on that joint my friend,
or perhaps a little more water than whiskey in the next round.
and if all else fails blow that smoke up the wasp's ****
