Question about 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser
Car cut off suddenly on the e-way. No prior problems up until now. Oil light came on and car will not start. Car is throwing a code of P 0340. This was read on the odometer. What does this mean?
Sounds like camshaft positioning sensor.
If you have this problem you will have a difficult time diagnosing what exactly is causing it. The easiest thing to do is to buy another sensor and install it. If this does not fix the problem then you should probably take it to a professional. The reason for this is it will take advanced diagnostic skills and equipment to pinpoint the problem.
