Hi, i have a Hyundai Excel 1999, it has a bad Pickup. When ever i stop at red light and when i try to run it , it dies. engine produce a very good Power but it cant run fast. pls help me

cud still be fuel issue-like the pressure regulator in engine area--throttle body mite be dirty as well as idle contrl motor --but sounds like some electric component is heatin up or distributer cap--coil--or ignition module is worn
does the engine crank over after it quits? is there a red light with a battery symbol on the dash lit up?
have the alternator checked for the proper voltage output between 13.5 and 14.5 volts. the alternator can be tested while still on the engine by a murrays/oreillys parts store or an autozone parts store. it is also possible your fuel pump has failed and the fuel pressure needs to be tested to see if
