The tracks may need to be lubricated (or replaced.) Try powering off the car and re-starting it to see if it's a computer issue.

My lincoln drivers side window sticks sometimes can i clean the switch?

Had the same problem with power windows sticking, either the motor is old and getting weak, or, a quick check fix is that as the weatherstripping gets old around the window it dries out and gets hard, the window when it slides will tend to stick on the weatherstripping, try cleaning the weatherstripping around the window with alcohol, then soak the weatherstripping with armor-all, or some spray silicone lube, you will probably have to do this from time to time, otherwise you can replace the weatherstripping..

Don't have power to my front door windows.

Are you sure there is no power or is the problem that they just don't open? These vans have problems with sticking motors and windows. Mine stick all the time. One time, I took off the door panels, tested everything and there was both power to the motor and a functioning motor unit. I lubricated all the mechanisms and window channels and they worked properly for about two years. Lately they have begun to stick again. If I rock the window switch back and forth rapidly for about 10 seconds, they free up and function normally for about a week. If I'm wrong and you have metered out the plugs to discover no power, check the fuse.

Window problem

You have two options: one take the window button out of the door, unplug the switch, take a paper clip find the power wire (red wire) stick one end of the paper clip in there and stick the other in a hole until you find the window goes up, (this is a quick fix). Now that you have the switch out contact your local Recycle yard and ask if they have a new switch for you.

I've got a 2001 ford explorer sport and the drivers power window only goes down a third of the way and then gets jammed, it looks like the window is being pulled down more in the front. how do i fix this?

your window is fasteded to the mecanisim that makes it go up and down in two places..the front and back.. when it comes loose it is very hard to get it to stick back to the mechanism..
the stuff is called POWER BOND-AUTO GLASS
URETHAN it is expensive but it is all that will stick good luck ray

Window sticking

Hi! U need to check the guide railes for the free movement of the glass and now that it is no longer working it could be that the sticking causes the motor to burn.

Window motor

the motor is gonna have power and ground on it the switch reverse the power so you will have power and ground on both wires at diffent times. it is most likely the motor they stick sometimes you can just smack the door panel with your hand while working switch and it will start working and may work a while like this motors get moisture in them and brushes stick
