Question about Kia Sorento
When going up the gears it feels like it needs a good blow out!!it has a full service history been to 2 garages they did I diagnostic check all clear but to me still feels very sluggish and jumps abit when accelerating?pls can you help
Try adding a suitable catalytic converter fuel treatment , there may be a build up in the cat converter follow product instructions

Trace the vacuum line from the left front wheel (drivers side) into the engine compartment tee, from the tee it goes up to the vacuum valve. You will see the wires on the bottom of the valve.
The vacuum hoses tend to break at the wheels,check that.
Also, check the hose running into the valve from a little canister, and make sure no hoses are disconnected from the cannister...

Yes you can take your fuse out, but you need your blower fan on when it rains.
Check the switch, it sound's like it has gone bad, then work your way to the Relay's. Not sure how many, if your Kia may have one and different resistors to control the different speed.

Have you Changed the mass air filter or MAF or had the mass air sensor checked The MAS these will cause your symptoms if they are clogged and are preventing proper air flow to the engine

best advice i give here is to trade it in quick its a kia need i say more ,check the gearbox oil level with engine running and drive selected ,wheels chocked as for power problem then its a dealer only as the diagnostics on this vehicle are not on the OBDII in the cab but a funny socket under the bonnet ,its so you have to take it to the dealers for any diagnostics ,best is to trade it in and get a ford focus manual with diesel engine .

COULD HAVE WORN REAR AXLE BEARINGS.FIRST CHECK ALL THE REAR SUSPENSION COMPONENTS MOUNTING BOLTS MAKE SURE ALL MOUNTING BOLTS AND SCREW ARE TIGHT ON THE REAR UPPER AND LOWER CONTROL ARMS LINKS.MAKE SURE REAR STABILIZER LINK BAR MOUNTING NUTS TIGHT.
