What vehicle is it you are wishing to adjust the head lights? This really is a job best done by professionals. You can do it yourself, but you require a blank wall and the distance from it on a flat surface to do it properly.

Hi Stuart, it's a Seat Ibiza 1.4 Sport. I found a 'wheel' control to the right of my lights switch which does move the light beam up and down but I think mine may require more than this. The other night I noticed that my dipped lights were hitting the right-hand hedge and a few other motorists 'flashed' me.

There are individual adjusters for turn in, out, up and down on the head light assemblies themselves. To get them correct is involved and probably best done by a shop. Blinding other drivers is dangerous and quite possibly a sick bird (illegal).

Headlights

Turn on the headlights on the low beam (dipped) setting. When you adjust the low beams, your high beams should set to the right level as well. With the lights now on:http://www.diyobd2.fr/wholesale/was-multi-diag-trcuk-heavy-duty-bluetooth-multi-language-diagnostic-tool-2669.html , see how the beam matches up with the horizontal and vertical tape lines you have placed on the wall.

Adjusting bi-xenon headlights on Volvo S40

This guys don't know what they are talking about. If you have self leveling head lights and they are way out of alignment, yes there is adjustment screws but those mess with a different light bulb (daytime running light) instead of the main bulb alignment.

So what is a man to do? go to the dealer and have them adjust them for you. Believe it or not everytime you get an aliment done you have to recalibrate your headlights because they change the way the vehicle sits. Do it enough times and the headlight will go out of wack (because of the self leveling function)

In other words, they headlights are adjusted by means of a Computer. You could do it your self but you have to buy the DICE VIDA adjustment tool and the proper software from Volvo. Not cheap, just go to the dealership.

How do you adjust the height of the dip headlights on a 1999 ford cougar please.

2 ways. One on the dash board you have a 3 level adjustment scroll switch and secondly pop the bonnet and on top of the headlight assembly you will find adjusters that can be adjusted with hex socket or hex key (allen key/socket) You will find headlight beam symbols with adjustment angle marks near the adjuster. Let me know if you still cant find it. I will post pics.

No dipped beam headlights on audi a4 1,9td 2003

Check up dipped beam headlights fuse inside fuse box. For Audi A4 the fuse box is located on the left side of dashboard behind a plastic cover (for left hand steering wheel vehicle). On inner face of the plastic cover you will find the fuse diagram. If the dipped beam headlights fuse is OK, check up dipped beam headlights bulbs.
