Very simple. Disconnect the plug from it, unscrew, replace with new sensor and o-ring.....2 screws hold it on.

U 1st need to test fuel pressure at the fuel pressure test port on the top of the engione in the fuel supply rail to the injector tops, it looks like a metal tire vale stem, u will need to buy a special fuel pressure tester to do this test. U should have around 55-60 PSI at idle, it should go up when u gun the engine but never go down, if it goes down the fuel filter or pump are suspect.

Pull the rubber inlet hose off at the throttle body and check for carbon build up around edge of throttle plate.USE a old toothbrush and some spray throttle body cleaner that can be purchased at autozone or othertype of parts house. Hold plate open spray and scrub with brush front,back and edges also make sure the idle air bleed hole on plate is open.

My experience has been with later model vehicles, but a bad throttle position sensor most definetly causes this type of situation. Two torx screws, opposite side if the throttle body, should have a three wire plug.

My HHR keeps setting the p0193 code. The symptoms are intermittent start and stall, run rough while stopped idling and starts, runs rough, stalls the restarts like nothing happened. and


This code refers to the fuel rail pressure sensor circuit being high. The two most common problems of this code are a faulty sensor and/or faulty pressure regulator. A wiring/computer issue can also contribute to this code. I have had success with numerous vehicles displaying this code by changing the fuel pressure sensor and correcting the problems you have stated

A few things come to mind.
After a fuel failure like that it is possible you have fouled the plugs, causing a hard start, rough idle.
Also, if it was run any length of time in that state its possible the catalytic converter has become slightly clogged not allowing the rpm's to climb.
I would start with a quick check of the plugs.

have you changed the manifold air pressure sensor(MAP) this is located some where along the inlet manifold it usually has only two wires that might help you find the correct sensor

My 2004 Xg350 is stuck in limp home mode.


code p1155 refers to electronic throttle system (ETS)- malfunction===causes --wiring--ETS limp home valve

code p1193 refers to ETS -limp home valve --on===causes --Low RPM
code p0302 refers to cylinder 2 misfire detected===causes--engine mechanical fault--wiring---ignition/ fuel system---injector---ECT/MAF sensor---ECM.
Pulling a battery lead to reset is a waste of time as it corrupts the CPU program. Use a code reader to reset . It is quicker and doesn't run the risk of program corruption

Check engine light came on


What do you mean "can't find code"? If the check engine light is on, there is a fault code stored in your onboard computer - that's the way it works. If you are using a generic OBD code reader, that is most likely the reason you cannot find any codes. You need to use a scanner that has the correct software to access your ENTIRE computer network, not just the "continuous memory" or "generic" side of your computer system.

The window problem is a seperate problem and must be diagnosed accordingly.

I have 8000 miles on my Tucson check engine light came on at start up this morning...gas cap is tight...no problems?????

Code P0193


The pressure in your fuel injection system is too high. You might need a new fuel pump or fuel regulator. Disconect the fuel line and check the pressure with a gauge {should be about 14 psi}. If it is its the regulator, if not the pump.
