Question about 1996 Dodge Caravan
1997 Chrysler Cirrus.....
Keeps blowing radio/dome light (IOD) fuse, PROBLEM SOLVED!!!
I found the short! FOR ALL of you who may find yourself in the same situation, the fix was a short inside the AC module below the radio. At the back of the AC control module, there are two connectors. Disconnect the smaller 9 pin connectors and that will do it! The short was on the circuit board that has the lights on it
I have the BCM working again so you can read your trouble codes with OBD scanner too.
Pain in the azz!

"Ignition off draw". Fuse. Chrysler uses that fuse for radio memory, dome lights, and other similar things. This fuse is usually removed when the car will be stored for more than a few weeks so the battery is not drawn down.
There must be a short circuit in one of those areas.
Hope this helps.

Try cleaning the fuse holder contacts as is a known problem for corrosion etc causing an earth to fuse , once cleaned spray with some thing like wd 40 , just a little, will help repel water

it may have a small cover over it. it should be right beside the ASD relay in the fuse box under the hood.

either something jammed in track/lock-- or actuator rod broke or disconnected from lock --need to remove interior door panel to get to lock release and latch check all rods and clips for damage or missing repair or replace as necessary u can manually unlock the door at latch if something was jammed or stuck in latch
