WHY IS MY 1994 CHEVY CHEYENNE DRIVE FINE ON THE FREEWAY BUT IN TOWN IT WILL DIE ON ME AT STOP LIGHTS.

I would check your battery connections. Clean them even if they look ok. I had a 93 olds that did that and it was a battery connection being dirty. Also check your fuel filter(replace it if you can) and the spark plug wires/cap and rotor can cause this. Low RPM at a stop light lets the voltage drop too much on the alternator and the battery isn't helping since its dirty so the engine dies. Then when you start it, it pulls enough amps to bypass the dirt to start.

Car dies when going over really bumpy roads

If the brake pedal goes hard right BEFORE the car dies, and not after, then you could have a problem INSIDE the brake power booster. try to verify this next time it dies at a stop, if you can safely pull the dead car off the road into a driveway (or try to make it stall in a bumpy parking lot) - then before you try to restart the car, open the hood, pull off the rubber hose where it's plugged into the brake power booster --> you SHOULD hear a big "Swoosh" of air being sucked into the booster because there's supposed to be a strong vacuum there even after the car stops running. if you get nothing there, your car is dying of an excessive vacuum leak through the brake booster.= bad booster.

My 2003 Ford Focus dies when idling after a little road trip.

have the check engine light checked at a parts store its usuall free. I would bet its the idle air control motor. This controls the fuel air mixture at idle

"Stability Control Fail" light on.

first job is to check the part load and main beather hoses are ok the stability system light may be a false indicator if the engine has stalled best is to get fault codes out of the ecm with a code reader to help but air leaks on the engine inlet side can cause strange/seeming unrelated symptoms

sounds like the head or head gasket is blown. your cylinders may be getting coolant in them which will not only cause the motor to lockup, but also cause bent rods and valves. check your oil dipstick and transmission dipstick to see if it looks like water or coolant is presant, also check the coolant to see if it smells like gas or has any kind of oil in it, if so, your head is likely blown.
