Its either your EGR valve and sensor or its the TFI module.
Does it idle good? Then its the TFI module
Does it idle bad rev up and down ? Then its the EGR valve and EVP sensor.

Yes and the way it runs.
Disconnect and plug the vacuum lines to the EGR, and see if you still have idle and driveability issues. If not replace the Valve.

Chevy 2002 Malibu ERG valve

Symptoms of a bad EGR valve are usually stumbling idle or the engine stalling when the car is warm (normal operating temperature). Find the EGR valve and locate the vacuum line attached to it. Start the engine cold and wait for it to warm up. When the engine starts to stumble, pull off the vacuum line. If the EGR is bad, the engine idle will stabilize and no longer stumble.

Engine run good until warmed up

One runs the gauge (or light), and one is for the computer. You want the one for the computer. You can unplug to see if it's for the guage when warmed up.

Vehicle cuts out and even backfires (blacksmoke) when driving down road does not die just does not run smooth. Changed oil twice oil is black, fluids to help clean, pluggs are good, wires are good when it...

If it seems to run better when it's first started (cold) and gets worse as it warms up. You can try disconnecting the coolant temp sensor and jumper the terminals in the connector (wire side) with a paper clip. The coolant temp sensor is either in the intake manifold or the thermostat housing and has a 2 wire connector. Jumping the connector will make the computer think that the engine is hot (warmed up) and will not richen the system. If doing this helps then replace the coolant temp sensor. Hope this is helpful.
