the reset procedure of the timing belt light is all done by pressing the trip meter button and holding it in whilst the ignition is turned to on then select from the trip button then continue pressing until you come to 15 on trip metre, turn off and then restart. The light should then go off.

Hi there , there should be a adjuster on the alternator, unless it's a serpentine belt, if a serpentine belt then you will need a new tension bled idler, hope this helps.

Troopy 75 Series landcruiser engine problem? hi

Check your air filter housing and the air intake piping. There is a reason why there are high level air intakes available for your vehicle, it is to stop water getting inside the combustion chambers. There is a possibility that your engine has sucked water into the induction system. It needs to be checked and cleaned as soon as possible. Water in the combustion chambers WILL kill your engine.

I need a belt routing diagram for an1988 toyota landcruiser

Andy,I would suggest that you check the radiator cover or inside the hood for a label that shows the fan belt routing or AUTOZONE.COM repair section for the routing of the belt or go to your nearest toyota dealership for a copy of the routing. If all else fails check autozone for a Haynes manual to see the proper routing.

How do i get the fan belt replaced when i have a broken one?

You should not have to remove anything, go to local autozone have them look up your car they will give you the right size belt, look under hood there is a diagram of how the belt goes on. Belt may be tension self adjusted.

Hi. Broke the two fan belts on my 80 series landcruiser today and having not replaced them before i dont know the best way to get the new ones on or the exact configuration on the wheels

BELTS MORE THAN LIKLEY HAVE TENSIONERS
WHICH HAVE TO BE BACKED OFF AND RETIGHTENED AFTER BELTS ARE REPLACED.
YOU MUST HAVE TO SECURE A DIAGRAM OF
BELT ROUTING IF THERE ISN'T ONE ON SHROUD.
PARTS STORE MAY BE ABLE TO HELP YOU ON
THIS ISSUE.
