This is usually a contact inside the wiper motor. Some are accessible and some require replacing the wiper motor. The inside of the wiper motor jumps into a derailer which breaks the electric contact that keeps the motor turning. Once the motor cycles, it parks in the down position.

The insides of the wiper motor are suppose to coast without power into the Park position.

SOURCE: Where is the wiper delay control module located on

the module is located under drivers side dash right of the steering column. it is gray plasticmodule, the most common problem with these modules is soldering on the board. If you resolder these points the module should work for you.

Why do interior lights stay on?

Body control module or the door switches are the culprit. Make sure they function correctly. More likely its the BCM, but don't ignore the door switches.

Why do my windshield wipers only work on high speed and when turning them off they stop where ever they happen to be, not going all the way down?

could be the motor wiper or the wiper control module first unplug electrical conector at the wiper motor, clean both the elect. connector and the motor connections as well, if this dont fix the problem you will have to change your wiper control module.

Wiper dont work

Check all your fuses and breakers first. With the ignition turned to run check that you have power at the WCM, wiper control module, check the multifunction switch the wipers run off of, check wiper motor or linkage under the plastic cowling under the wiper blades, comes off easily with a few screws and clips.

Windshield wipers do not work 1998 Chrysler Cirrus. All relays and fuses checked. Multifunction switch and wiper motor replaced. Does body control module control this and where is it located

Try running a ground wire from the metal body of wiper motor to ground on battery negative "-".
Chrysler has a bad habit of losing ground to wiper motor.

My air conditioner is working but won't blow out

Are you saying the temp blend door is not working?
If yes, it's the control head or the temp blend door motor on th plenum case under the dash. Buy used on ebay.

DO you have manaul or electroic controls?

If electronic

A/C Electronic Blend Door Actuator The A/C electronic blend door actuator is located on top of the A/C evaporator core housing (19A553) assembly.
  • Its function is to move the A/C air temperature control door on command from the control assembly.
  • The A/C electronic blend door actuator contains a reversible electric motor and a potentiometer. The potentiometer wiper is connected to the actuator output shaft and moves with the output shaft to indicate the position of the A/C air temperature control door.
  • A five volt signal is applied to the ends of the potentiometer. The voltage available at the wiper indicates the position of the potentiometer. The expressed value of the actuator wiper voltage is sent to the control module and matched with the wiper voltage of the module potentiometer. The printed circuit board then drives the actuator motor in whichever direction is necessary to make the actuator wiper voltage agree with the control module wiper voltage.

manual

#3 is the blend door.

Wiper speed control for a '97 Mercury Grand Marquis. What causes the wiper to work on high speed only?

Intermittent wiper control stopped working on my 1996 GM last spring. I ended up replacing the wiper motor ($100.00 part). Since I have found it on Amazon for $58 including shipping. It works fine now. Only bad part was all the "stuff" that has to come out (like dead leaves!) to get to the wiper motor. Also make sure you have your wipers in the down position when you replace the motor.
