How can you bypass an antitheft system on a 2002 tdi jetta?

If it is not a new key fob, it sounds to me like the immobilizer is activated. So, all the lights on the dash are working now? Is there a flashing key on the dash lights? One of the resets that works is put the key fob in, and turn ignition on without starting it, and leave it 15 minutes. And try again.

How do I disable an alarm on a 95' Jetta

YOU DONT.if you try to do any work that effects the immobiliser you will pay a hefty bill to rectify any damage you do.it is NOT removeable.if the keys dont work the locking then leave the car unlocked, its safe to do as the key is coded to the ignition.

I have new keys for my 1999 vw jetta tdi, but i don't have the remote to program the new keys. how can i go about doing this since there is no vw dealers in belize

"small"problem. If you don.t have remote control the keys can be programed only with diagnostic equipment. There is another procedure but you need of wiring diagram of the immobiliser to cut off the wire.Means - ignore for ever the immobiliser. Not safety in Belize.Just take your decision.

the immobiliser just kicked in.making sure you have good batteries in the remotes(both)then unlock car with key/hold key over for 30 secs.(the windows may go down)then lock/hold down button on the remote, you have just reset system.(batteries last about 18 months used or not....)

Lost key

You cannot disable the immobiliser. If it were that easy, any car theif could defeat it by searching the internet. If you dont have any more master keys, you will have to have your local Toyota dealer reseed (reprogram) the immobiliser code, and program new keys for you. It should be about 2 hours labor and cost of keys, but only a dealer can do it. They need to use the Toyota scan tool, and access a Toyota only website with security codes.
