Check the mass airflow sensor, usually if its bad it will ruin the O2 sensors.

the upper 02 sensor is for air fuel mix while the secondary 02 sensor is for the operation and status of the catalitic converter are you sure the catalitic converter is not plugged. Could be if you have had a loss of power

1998 nissan maxima trouble code p0134 the check light is on and it will not pass inspection

The code points to a 02 sensor no responce. It may be dead. Testing can confirm this. If the car has a broken wire or an 02 sensor fuse this also could be the issue.

NEXT YOU WILL NEED TO FIND OUT IF ECM ..MAIN COMPUTER IS POWERING UP,,,,FIRST THING IS TO TURN KEY TO THE RUN POSITION....DOES THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COME ON IF NOT CHECK FUSES... IF SO NEXT STEP IS TO MAKE SURE THE SYSTEM IS NOT IN AUTO SHUTDOWN MODE.. YOU CAN CHECK THIS BY USING A TEST LIGHT AND CONFIRMING THERE IS VOLTAGE ON COIL DURING CRANKIN...LOOKS LIKE COULD BE BAD ECM MAIN COMPUTER.. GIVE ME THE ANSWERS TO THOSE QUESTIONS FIRST AND I WILL TELL YOU NEXT STEP

Engine light was on and engine idles rough.

these O2 sensors are cat convertor check sensors. id be checking cat convertors and hopefully you should try replacing if not all ready is the front bank 2, O2 sensor
if you have scanner can you see fuel trims in data display to confirm high fuel trim only on bank 2 either +-5 or more indicates problem and if bank 2 sensor 2 has fixed high 700mv reading cat no good(warm idling)

I ran a Diagnostic on my 1998 chevy venture mini van and here are the codes that came up, P0102, P0134. What does this mean? I have already replaced the following, fuel pressure regulator, both crankshaft...

the 2 codes are

P0134 02 Sensor Circuit no activity Detected (bank 1 sensor 1)
first check your fuses check the wiring to the sensor(the sensor is on the exhaust in front of the engine-open the hood and look down) if the fuses and the wiring look good replace the O2 sensor there are 2 types of sensors original equipment(oe) style and universal the oe style has a connector you just plug in, the universal you have to hard wire in

the 2nd code is Mass Air Flow (MAF) Circuit Low Input
check the wireing, make shure theres a good connections
you said that you already replaced this sensor so im going to recomend that you go after the other code first

deal with the oxygen sensor then reset the computer and see what codes come back

I have error codes p0156 p0161

Check the wire harness near the top of the engine in the rear. They were good for rubbing through on the trans fill tube bracket. Judging by the code you have 4 sensors. you would be interested in the drivers side rear sensor.

Check engine light on.

Replace O2 sensor. They have to be really hot in order to read right. Did you ensure to drive around a good 30 min to make it hot?

Trouble code 52 on Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 5.2L?.

the tps could cause the pcm to think the throttle is open further than it really is, adjusting injector pulsewidth to compensate. but. the 02 would see the rich condition, the idle would suffer and the idle air controller would open to compensate. all technical discussion aside, you need to check the 02 sensors output voltage while running. backprobe the output and make sure you're not getting over 1 volt and that it dances from about 200mV to 800mV at a high enough rate that your DVOM has a hard time keeping up with it. If you get a steady voltage, chances are the 02 sensor is shorted inside to either the ref. B+ or the heater B+. If it's not switching and the voltage is high, unplug it and check for voltage in the signal wire of the harness. could be a wiring issue before the 02 as well.
