Are there any additional peripherals installed? Sometimes the alarm guy or whoever tap into a live wire not regarding what it controls. Other times a vehicle involved in an accident pinches wires abd it doesn't show up sonetimes for months. The ignition fuse you refer to is which fuse in which fuse box. All the fuses have numbers.

How to pass smoke check for these fail problem, thermostatic air cleaner, air injection, and fillpipe retrictor

Thermostatic air cleaner that that tube that goes to the air cleaner, you will need that,it NOT expensive, air injection thats the smog pump is the hose connected? Is the belt connected to it, It needs to be working not missing any parts of it, like the belt for the air injection or the hose that is attatched to it. As for fill pipe inspection that is NO longer a inspection it is no longer tested,That was when leaded gas was available.

Bmw 523i 1999 model asc light on and stays on when driving ABS working normally

The fact that the ABS is OK means that the wheel speed sensors are OK. The sensors are the part of the system that get the most abuse, so it is good to eliminate them as suspects.
On a 1999, I think that you have a mechanical (cable-driven) throttle rather than drive-by-wire throttle. If so, the ASC has its own throttle just outboard of the regular throttle. If you don't see it, follow the air tube up from the air filter to the intake manifold. The throttle(s) are attached to the center of the intake manifold at the end of that air tube..
If your ASC has its own throttle, that means that you have an actuator and a little throttle cable running from the actuator to the ASC throttle. Since that is a moving part, it is subject to wear, dirt, and corrosion that interfere with motion. That makes this system the second suspect after wheel sensors. Check that cable for fraying and a full range of motion as it pulls the lever on its throttle. Unplug the control wire to the actuator and make sure that the connections are clean and tight.
I recently had an ASC light that turned out to be a hose clamp that was installed improperly and was interfering with the motion of the throttle arm on the ASC throttle.

How do I find the ground for my 2002 Grand Cherokee back lights? The lights and blinkers only work when they want to.

One of the things that you will want to check is the bulbs, and not necessarily the filament that is in them. My 03 Ram had the same issue and what was happening is that the conectors that are on the bulb housing were burnt in two and they would work when they wanted to. Chrysler replaced the entire bulb housing/board that the bulbs plugged in to and replaced the wiring and the issue was still there. I happened to double check their work to see if they really replaced what they said they did and when checking, I found that the bulbs were not replaced and that was the entire issue.
If you have a tow package and the wiring harness that will allow you to plug a trailer up, I would recommend checking that out as there is a box that the wires run through and sometimes the box will go bad. If there is a box there then there wil also be a ground wire that ties into the frame or subframe and sometimes they will lose connectirvity, had that happen on an Isuzu Rodeo. Check the easy stuff first as it is usually the issue and that will save you a lot of time. The las thing I would do is to trace the wires.

I hope that you have found this information useful as that is my goal.

Terrible vibration and noise from the exhaust pipe. I was told that when Braun does the drop floor that they remove the weights from the exhaust pipe and that there is no fix for the vibration and...

There are custom exhausts that can fix that, but they are expensive, will cause a loss of power and the fix will not be total - you will still feel some minor vibrations.

Subaru forester 1997

All around good car with great ground clearance and use-ability. Be aware of used ones that have high miles due to the fact that the 2.5 that was used is prone to head gasket failure. Make Certain that when puchacing one, that records are included that illustrate that both head gaskets have been replaced and that new ones meeting updated OEM standards where used. Run Subaru coolant conditioner and service regularly and this car will run 200k+

Toyota 1988 camry

Egr Valve is usually attached to plenum with a tube that runs to exhaust minifold. If you dont know what those things are then. Find the black tube that runs from the front of the car to the front of the motor. there should be a big square box where you air filter goes in the middle of that tube. Well where that tube connect on the front of the motor. That is called the throttle body. the big block of aluminum is called the plenum. Bolted to that plenum is going to be a space ship looking thing that has one rubber hose a wireing plug that plugs into it and a long tube that is attached to the bottom that goes down behind the motor to your exhaust. There should be 2 or three nuts or bolts that hold it in place. Sorry if I overexplained this but I do not know how much you know about the car......Good luck!
