You probably need a new starter.Try to start another car using your battery, to rule out that you dont need a new battery. then take it from there.

Just push the open button on your remote opener, or hit the panic (red) button again.

Car wont start and key stuck in ignition

Sounds like you are losing the power from the battery. Loose connection somewhere between the battery and the fuse box. The car is going into security mode (which prevents the car from starting). This happens when people change the car battery. Leaving the ignition key on for 10 minutes and the security light quits flashing. Car starts. I would be looking at the battery connections and other main power leads going the the relay center. Good luck.

It sounds like you have mixed your PRIMARY POWER
to your starter solenoid (Specifically "S" and "B" leads).

My best suggestion would be to either get a REAL
shop manual for your ignition switch... or use the
FREE wiring diagrams from BBB Industries...
Registration is required at
BBB Industries Premium Alternators Starters Power Steering Products

THIS simple REVERSAL would
allow the starter to crank... but releasing
the key would cause it to die...

"B" is on full time battery (Coming out of the solenoid)
"S" only has battery on it when the IGNITION KEY
is in the "START" position

Cant start. the power to the dash stays on even

Sounds like a bad starter switch at the column there. May need to replace that.

New starter but car wont start

funny...you have just told me what is wrong with it!!!
check power in, power out at the ignition switch...likely it has failed. switch is on the top of the steering column under the dash and is sometimes easier to reach if you disconnect the column from the dash and permit the sterering wheel to rest on the seat.

Ive turned of my jag in park mode, now i cant restart it

Does your dash light up to indicate you have a battery source or power? If yes you have power try starting it in neuatral or in another gear. If it starts in neatrual maybe your selector going bad. If it starts in other gears repair the shift selector. Three If no power indicated check fuses. four will motor crank or turn over if yes look for a drivability problem. If no final maybe bad ignition switch. Need to replace ignition switch. Probably time for service
