Change battery on infiniti m37

First you wanna know where this problem is coming from. 1,check battery to make sure the cells are holding the change, if not then you need new battery
If battery is good then something from the car is draining battery.
Could be alternator, could be your stereo , ????

Is the security light on while the engine spins over? If so, reprogram key.

use a scanner to reset the CPU program as the immobiliser has been corrupted by the battery change.

If the remotes are anything like GM remotes - you will have to reprogram them both. Most Auto-Zone stores will do it for free - if you buy the batteries from them. Or google Infinity remotes and they will tell you how to do it yourself.

A P0106 could be caused by:
Bad MAP sensor
Water/dirt intrusion affecting MAP sensor connector
Intermittent open in the reference, ground, or signal wire for the MAP sensor
Intermittent short in the reference, ground, or signal wire for the MAP sensor
Ground problem due to corrosion causing intermittent signal problem
A break in the flexible air intake duct between the MAF and the intake manifold
Bad PCM (do not assume the PCM is bad until you've exhausted all other possibilities)

See the dealer on this, this is under warranty, do not attempt any repairs you will void the warranty.

it has to be under warranty, take it to a dealer and get it fixed.

remove the 5 retainers holding the cover disconnect the battery and remove. Install new battery hookup positive terminal first.

You simply disconnect the battery, and use sockets/wrench to remove the alternator. Make sure the battery is fully charged up before you install the new alternator.
