Could be a failed stop light switch.

The switch is above the pedal. Check to see if it is broken or loose

SOURCE: 2002 Sable - Interior light stays on all the time when car is run

you have either the thumb wheel switch beside the headlamp switch is turned all the way up or a sticking door ajar switch.
Does the door ajar light in instrument cluster stay on?
If so then you can shoot some WD-40 into the latches on the side of the doors then open and close them firmly a few times and this will usually unstick them.

SOURCE: air bag light blinks anti brake light on

Depending on when you start counting the air bag blinks...1-5 or
5-1...that means it won't work. (Good news, if ya don't want it to.) Ford assured me it will NOT activate.

Sorry I can't help with the brake light, but...I'd check the fluid level & if the brakes work fine, I wouldn't concern myself with it.

Brake lights stay on in my 2000 nissan exterra

it's not any of what any of you suggested - it is a $4 part called a pedal bushing and it is connected to your brake pedal. The bushing fills a void where there is a switch, that when NOT depressed your brake lights stay on. It's a pain to replace, but that is what it is. I bet you found pieces from the old one on your floorboard.

Brake warning light comes on while driving and stays on I have check the brake fluid was down a little bit so i add some. light went off and came back on again do u think i have a leak if so were or...

Try to add again and see if it happens the same. If so, check the wheels to see if there is any leak. Also check on the place you parked over the night. Identify the leak and take action. Function of leak place you may ask for help in fixing it. Another problem to the old cars: they have some sensors in the brake pads. When the pads get thin the brake ligt is on. Chech that too if there is no leak.

I have a 2001 Nissan Maxima. The air bag lite is staying on. Is this important? How do I turn the ligt off?

If the light comes on while you're driving the vehicle, there's a malfunction in the SRS System (Air Bags System). Have it inspected and repaired as soon as possible. DO NOT attempt to troubleshoot or service the SRS System yourself, even a small mistake could cause the SRS System to malfunction when you need it.
