Rear end of what?
the whole car?
sure, you need help a live person, nobody hear can find noises.
it must be heard by the mechanic.

makes noise, moving only,
only bumps, or turns?
only in gear,
only accerlating
only deacelerating.
only in some gears.
only in 4wd? or 2wd?
only coasting,
only coasting out of gear.
see, that takes a skilled mech to do all that and 10x more. to find
the SOURCE of said noise.

Loud squeaking coming from left front of car

Hi Tim:
Possibles:
- Engine running but vehicle stopped. - Fan belt or bad bearing in rotating accessory like alternator or water pump.
- Vehicle moving - Worn brake pad. Little metal tab drags on disc and makes squeak to tell you it's time to replace.
- Vehicle not moving, engine not running - Tire parked on neighbor's cat's tail.

I hit a median while turning left. Why does my vehicle make a loud squeaking noise when I turn the steering wheel or when I hit a bump?

Please get your car checked. You may have bent the Tie rods or the control arm and the Ball joint is making the Squeaking noise. Sway bar end links and Strut bearing will also make noise going over bumps.

My camaro squeaks really loud whenever i turn the steering the wheel left or right whether I'm moving or sitting still. It sounds like it's coming from both sides of the front end.

tie rod ends dry? this kind of thing is easily found if one person moves the wheel and the other listens and/or feels the different front end components. loud squeaks are generally accompanied by vibration which is hard to miss if you get down close to it.

Loud squeaking wnen turning and moving. in the

worn rubber suspension bushings and dry steering tie rod ends cause this, have a tire shop do a courtesy inspection, it is free at most.

Rear suspension is squeaking loudly think it is a bushing have no idea witch one or how to fix it.

You will want to doublecheck that it isnt the shock absorber as well. Only loose bushings or ones the rubber is coming apart it will squeak. So if you start looking for the squeak you will want to check very carefully as to their condition. Look for some reddish powder or residue as that can sometimes be a telltale sign.
In the end you will have to take it to a shop to get the work done as some of those call for special tools.

Rear end squeak

Noise is coming from a dry u-joint and or the carrier bearing if equiped. Usually a u-joint "cherps" in reverse first then only gets worse with time. If it starts vibrating at highway speeds replace them immediately.

Front end Chevy cobalt loud squeak?!

If you have the time, take the vehicle to an autoshop of your choice, and ask them to grease all fittings on the front end. My car did the exact same thing, it was the ball joints. You may need a new ball joint, but being a 2009, I highly doubt it unless its been in an accident or something. There are grease fittings on the front, I believe there should be at least 5, maybe more, but the sound you are experiencing is the equivalant to a pogo stick if I'm correct. Hope that helps.
