Question about 1993 Ford Crown Victoria
I locked the keys inside the 1993 Crown Victoria. AAA opened the passenger side door with a slim jim. Now the car won't start. The lights, power windows, radio, and door locks all work. I'm wondering if there is a kill switch and what to do.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: i have a 1994
This may have something to do with your no start but should not, replacing the lock shouldnt affect the starting, the first thing i would test is the starter, start there, using a testlight have someone hold the key in the crank postion while you test for power at the small wire on the starter, if theres power at the starter then its the starter thats bad, this is where i would start if theres no power at the small wire then go to the ignition swtich not the lock cylinder but the switch on the column, hope this helps.

you should look at the fusible links that come off the starter relay.they look like normal wires but they are designed to burn in two if there is too much draw.to check them you only need to pull on the caseing of the wire to see if it is stretchy or not.if it is then replace it,if it's still stiff it's o.k.if you need to replace it then something in your car caused it to blow or it got week over time.hope this helps.

SOURCE: my driver side door wont lock
The actuator that locks the door is probably worn out. I would simply lock it manually .
If you desire to , you can replace the actuator by removing the interior trim panel and drilling the rivets holding the actuator in the door. Replace the rivets with small screw/bolt combos .

This car came standard with power door locks and the lock actuators are frozen up and this keeps you from turning the key to open the doors.
