Which engine. ? 2.5Liter V6??????
they get 19mpg all the time. no matte,r what you do.
so 10 is bad. (wow, a near virgin car.... rare that.. this old..)
id sell it, while it still has value, Suzuki dont sell cars here in USA and Canada now, and that needs careful thought, i'd sell.)
Get at toyota or mazda .

1: IS check engine light glowing, driving? bingo. see #2
2: did you plug in any OBD2 scan tool and scan it, most good shops
will scan it for free with the full power scan tools not seen at autozoned. they have full scan that can scan ALL factory codes.
3: air cleaner dirty?
4: spark plugs fouled, (some bad gas can to do that or using junk additives, ?)
5: Fouled Injectors, run a tank of Chevron fuel or add Techron additive to fuel to clean injectors. low miles, means this car sits long time to me and fuel my be getting bad, sitting, and causing injector gum up.
I hate additives but if in a jam, Chevron works and is safe .
6: engine stuck in limphome mode. see #2
7: fuel pressure way too high, rare but is always possible,
8: leaking injectors, see 5
9: someone stealing fuel.
10: checking MPG wrong.

I hate tire pressure monitors, in this case it sounds like you have a bad one. if you take it to the dealer they will be able to tell you which one is bad.

SOURCE: 2007 suzuki sx4 emission control light on. 17000 miles

My light in my 2007 SX4 just came on. Apparently my oxygen sensor is wrecked... allegedly from oil dropping on it during oil changes. Did the light come on after the most recent oil change?

Will a new carbuator on a 1985 F-150 really improve my mileage

It is against federal regulations to remove anything at all,
from any vehicle.

Doing so, may hurt more than help, unless you
understand the technology your removing

A new carb is not the answer

Rebuilding yours yourself ,may make it start & run smoother,
but every day all vehicles wear & get less mileage, even brand
new ones.

All ford trucks from 1960 to this day have gotten 13 mpg at most

I have a 2008 Saturn Vue XE AWD 6 cylinder that is only getting about 19mpg highway miles. Does anyone have similar problems and wondering if it is something that can be done to improve this. Thanks!

You can change the spark plugs and coils, wires for a little better gas mileage. I would say 60,000-70,000 miles. If you are under that, probably still ok. You can try fuel injector cleaner in the tank. Check your tires and make sure they are properly filled up. If the vehicle is out of alignment, it will cause bad gas mileage. Make sure you have no vacuum leaks and make sure your air filter is clear. If you have any questions, just let me know.

for better freeway mileage a low back pressure exhaust will help, also run tires at max pressure, this is around 45 PSI, in town there is little you can do.

2007 kia rondo seems to use alot of gas

I have the same issue of low gas mileage. My 2008 Kia Rondo with V6 (2.7Lt) gets 20-21 mpg in average. Even for highway mileage, it is around 21-22mpg. Very poor gas mileage. Disappointed. I hope it would improve in the future.

Poor gas mileage in a 2008 Saturn Hybrid Vue

You are always going to get worse gas mileage with E85 than regualr gasoline.  My sister has a colbalt and she mixes 1/2 gas and 1/2 e85.  The dealer told her she could do this to improve mileage.  I would not try it in your car unless you check with the dealer first, it could mess your engine up if you do it.  If you are getting that mileage with gasoline, then i would change spark plugs to bosch platnium 2 or something that allows more spark.
