Question about Suzuki Cars & Trucks

Electricle problem with my car

Suzuki Sidekick has a new fuel pump, but isn't starting. We had a hunch it was the fuel pump relay, however finding it has posed more difficult than we thought, any ideas?

Why not post the symptoms and we do diagnosis.
all I have to work with is "isnt starting"
Does it crank over robustly.? see NOcrank below.
what engine.? what year,?
Sidekicks have 3 engine, and all 3 are radial different i design.
always know what engine is there first, then diagnose,
Ill take a wild guess, here, its not the 1.8L sport DOHC engine
but is the G16, A or B
ill guess its the G16 B with the 1995 16v option.
they made these tin boxes from 89 to 1998. (kicks)

so got spark on all 4 cylinders, not one.
if yes, does TEST FUEL work (see scotty do that below)
ok no spark
does DIZZY rotor spin (1.8L has no dizzy) so do it.
no, cam belt slipped and broke, 60k mile service NEVER done.
yes, cam spins
i check timing , cranking and its at 5 Deg BTDC.good.
no the timing is way off, that is because the timing belt slipped. bingo.
timing is at spec. good.
so test fuel runs HERE) does it?
yes it does, (it must)
so its a fueling issue, note how bad fuel pumps is last.
i then check fuel pressure, its at 35psi, its good.
so check for signs of injection (spark plug tip)
there is non.
i do a NOID test.
all noids lamps dead.
the ECU is cutting fuel full time
i find the TPS ground wire cut. open. dang.
5cent fix, no pulling take and 5 hours hard labor,.. not at all.

now links,
NOCRANK is 1st.

Do you know if the pump has power, do you have normal fuel pressure, and normal spark at the plugs ?

Not firing

How is your fuel pressure after the fuel pump replacement? (requires adapters and a gauge.) You also can use "test fuel" (like starting fluid) to help determine if the problem is fuel or ignition. Just be careful as the stuff is explosive. For more in depth trouble shooting you might want to visit a Suzuki forum. (Your Tracker is a rebadged Suzuki Sidekick.)

91 sidekick engine won't start, fuel pump relay replaced and working, fuel pump not running

Check for power at the fuel pump, I've seen these have a bad connection for the fuel pump in a connector behind the left rear taillight. If that connection is good and you have power and ground to the pump when you cycle the key or crank the engine, then replace the pump.

No fuel

I come to find out,the fuel command is controlled by the computer, due to corrosion in the internals, it is not telling the fuel pump to turn on,so in turn, I run a switch to the power side of the fuell pump, it works, but the weird thing is, you only need the power on to start the truck, after its running, you can shut the switch off, it stays running, shut it off, you need to turn the power on to make it start pumping again, now who can explain this??
