Question about Cars & Trucks
Changed water pump, both cam, front crank seal and valve cover gaskets on this vehicle. When filling radiator with coolant, it fills up the engine gurgling into the head. What would cause this to happen? Water pump does not seem to be leaking.
Some place the coolant flows is through an area with oil in it, and the 2 mix, this indicates the gasket is defective or the part is cracked or otherwise not sealing. Cylinder head gaskets can cause this and often do.

Testimonial: "Would the head gasket be cracked enough for the coolant to flow thru into the oil passage fast enough for it to gurgle."
