When you remove the fuel tank their should be a circular disk-like object with three tuebes coming out from it. use a screwdriver to rotate the tabs and then pull the whole apparatus out. the fuel sensor is the part that has the arm and a float attached to it. the tank was a little hard for me to get out by myself withought a jack. just make shure you remove the rear gas tank strap then undo the four bolts near the front of the tank on the truck frame below the place where you put the gas hose. hope this puts you in the right direction.

Not getting gas to the throttle body on a 1992 chevy s10 with a 2.8

Then you likely have a defective electric fuel pump. The pump is located inside the gas tank and the tank must be removed from the truck to access the pump.

My 1992 chevy s10 pickup dies after it warms up??? have already replaced the fuel filter.....takes awhile for it to this something to do with the sensor...If so where is it located at on the...

There are about 10 sensors...
If you have the 2.2 engine, see if the spark goes away when it won't start. You could have a module failing. Usually you replace the ignition module and the coils. But, ...diagnose it before you throw parts at it.

1992 lumina starts, sputters, then dies. replaced the coil packs, plugs, wires, map censor, cleaned the maf censor. any ideas?

About the only things that you have not changed that would cause that problem are the fuel pump, the ECM, (Engine Control Module) or if your vehicle has one it could be the ignition module, and here is an image of what the ignition module will look like, and not all applications will use one.

My chevy lumina starts but once it warms up it dies and wont start changed coils and module what else could it be?

you probably have a faulty temperature censor. if the car stalls when its hot and acts like its running out of gas than its the temp censor. what this censor does is it will tell the main computer what to make the air fuel mixture and if its telling the computer (ECM) that the car is too rich than it will lean the air fuel mixture so far that it will cause the car to stall.

My husband said his 2000 Chevy S10 would sputter and stall continuously. Just happened yesterday. Took it to Pep Boys. They diagnosed it as a bad fuel injector. He has a 4 cyclinder manual transmission....

I had the same problem with my 1992 S10 Pick Up. Found the problem to be with the fuel pump. Replaced the fuel pump and it ran like a charm.
The fuel pump is located in the gas tank.

Fuel pump 1992 chevy S-10

You have to drop the fuel tank to get to the fuel pump. not a difficult job but it is time consuming and an extra pair of hands will be very helpful. First thing to do is get all the gas out you can, asses how you are going to remove the tank and then start. Don't forget to be very careful with the fuel lines, disconnect them and reconnect them carefully.
