Sounds like the vain is blocked, you will need to take out the jet inside and clean it out. its brass so be careful when removing it. should be 2 or 3 in there remember where they all go don't put the wrong one back in the wrong hole they are different pin settings. flush out the hole and blow into them to make sure they are clean clean the hole in the jets and refit while you have it off clean the filter in the fuel line. and change the fuel filter when all clean the cleaner the better refit back on to the engine and use some carb seal blue or red will do as they colour code now. tighten back down . when all fitted make sure the settings on the fuel it 4 turns and air is 6 this will help it to start then adjust from there to get to your desired settings. hope this helps.

SOURCE: 1995 dodge ram 1500 2 wd, replaced front brake

Hi There.
could be a weak spot in the brake line and has popped when you pushed the pistons back on the brake calipers, (had a similar problem on my toyota previa) only thing you can do is replace brake line and bleed brakes. make sure that there is no build up of road dirt on top of the tank, and check for stone damage incase something got thrown up from the road..
Good Luck.

I do not understand what you are trying to say. I believe that English is not your primary language but, I want to help and since communication is going to be tough, take a picture of the item that is clicking and I will identify it for you. Please, do not take offense to my lingual observations. The point I was trying to make is that what you are writing it is confusing. Okay?

1986 dodge with a 2001 360 dodge magnum motor 600cfm edelbrock carb, air gap edelbrock intake. new plugs (e3s) new wires new coil new ballast.. is all in time.. wont start help

Are you getting spark? You've put a 2001 engine into a 1986 body. The 2001 engine ran with an engine control module (ECM), the 1986 doesn't have that. The 1986 probably has an electronic ignition module that works with the 1986 coil and 1986 reluctor/distributor. You may want to compare the two distributors and the two coils.

Hi I just want to how much easier is it to tune an edelbrock carb then a quadrajet carb

Edelbrock cars are square bore and Quadrajets are spreadbore make sure you have either an adaptor plate if running stock manifold or you'll have vacuum leaks, as far as tuning Edelbrocks are EZ. 2 air/fuels screws that only effect idle, turn in till runs rough then back out 1/4 to 1/2 turn on both, that will set it for economy, for performance engines, turn out or counter clockwise till runs rough then turn back in clockwise 1/2 to full turn, set idle ***** and your good to go, the two vacuum ports in front are distributor advance, the right side closest to manifold is full time vacuum hook there for performance or left side for economy.. if you buy a new edelbrock carb it will run great right out of the box, also has a set/up DVD, for novice Mechanics, ez to change metering rods too, hope this helps, and in my opinion Quadrapuke carbs are junk.

What can I do to get my 1975 dodge RV with 360 2 bbi from stalling when put in gear

the other setting for the idle is not done you have the curb idle done but when you drop it into gear it stalls out go to where the choke is and adjust it you'll see a screw there move the throttle lever back and forth so you can see where it is that screw will increase the fuel going in to keep it running raising the rpm's make sure the choke plate is in the proper position to it could be closing all the way blocking the air out which is needed for combustion in the cylinders

I have a 1985 gmc Sierra with an 305 with an edelbrock 1401 500cfm carb how should I adjust the carb to run stronger with the 2 screws on the front of the carb

Start by checking the existing settings of your air adjusting screws (the two in front). you do that by turning the screws one at a time in (clock wise) at one half turn at a time until they stop. should be appx. 1 1/2 turns. Be sure to jot down how many turns it took so you can put them back if need be. Now set both at 1 1/2 turns out (counter clock wise) NOTE. Do all this with engine off...... Now start engine and turn screws out slowly one at a time about 1/2 turn then in until you hear the engines RPMs start to drop then turn out again 1/4 turn. Now your air/fuel mixture should be as close as your going to get it without a dino machine

My 1975 dodge d100 wont start it will try but wont run and i know the 2 adjustment screws are not set right so what are they supposed to be set to

If you are referring to the carb, it is adjusted by 'playing by ear'. Once is for the gas and the other is for the air. Move the screws quarter turns and observe. Take note how many movements are made so you can redo what you have done. Sometimes spraying carb cleaner helps.

Rebuild it yourself with a carb rebuild kit

Buy it rebuilt and just install it

Or buy a new aftermarket holley or edelbrock.

Good carb, just runnin way too rich

On the carb you should have 2 screws. One for the air and one for the fuel. You will able to adjust your air fuel mixture via those screws.
