Question about Renault Kangoo
I found oil in my header tank of my kangoo. Someone told me that my oil cooler might be corroded and is leaking. Please help. My e-mail is firstname.lastname@example.org
Is it a foamy substance? If so it is not oil it is the new coolant that is called extended life, it breaks down and turns to what appears to be an oily brown sludge. Have the system flushed thoroughly and add the new coolant that doesn't do this.

SOURCE: oil in water header tank.
oil in header tank indicates a blown head gasket this could also explain the hunting. The brakes might just need bleeding, while this is done you can check for fluid leaks.Shakey steering at a certain speed is wheel balancing, this is quite cheap to fix but it must be done at a tyre fitting garage.hope this helps, good luck.

Could be just the OIL COOLER. VW IS CORRECT.
If the oil cooloer fails internely you will have a mix of coolant and oil. In the engine and in the Radiator,
But not to say the other guys were wrong...

The most cheapest way is as follow: Disconect the hoses from the oil cooler and connect them together.Clean coolant system from the oil and drive about 20 miles.Check again coolant system. If there is oil-change cylinder head gasket. If not-change oil cooler. If you are in London go to see Hall service centre N17 Ferry lane next to Hall subway station-Tottenham.Tell Duane -Sabo send me here.
