Hi

Turn on radio - the word SAFE will appear in the display. Press th P.SCAN and RBDS buttons simultaneously and hold them down until "1000" lights up in the display.Release buttons.Do not, under no circumtances, continue holding them down or press them once again. This will cause the radio to consider the number 1000 to be the input code.Use station buttons 1,2,3,and 4 to enter the code number on your Radio Card. Use the button 1 to enter the first number 2 for the second number 3 for the third number and 4 for the last number.Once you have entered the code and it shows on the display, press the P.SCAN and RBDS buttons down again simultaneously and hold them down until the word SAFE appears in the display.Release buttons. Soon afterwards a frequency will be displayed. or visit this url; http://www.radio-code.co.uk/blaupunkt-radio-codes.html and enter your serial codes

Thanks!

HI, your best bet is to call the dealer and ask for code. This should be free. Good luck!

Radio codes are security related to discourage theft, so they are not published on the internet, if they were what would be the point?? any thief could get the code after stealing your radio. Contact the dealer for instructions and what info u need to get your cars unique radio code, this will include the serial number of the car and the serial number off the radio chassis tag..

I"m looking for a code for this model that belongs to an Audi A6 made by Blaupunkt.

Call your Audi dealer with your VIN number and the above radio serial number. Some dealers look up the code for free (others charge for it). The are NOT required to give you the code. The code was provided to you in the operator manual (typically on a perforated card).

Contact an Audi dealership with your VIN, or look in the trunk area for a 4 digit code on a sticker

Look at this site, it has detailed instructions for various Audi radios (assuming you have the code)

2001 Audi A6 2.7t , my audi symphony radio locked out

You will need the code to get it working. You may need Audi for this. Never disconnect the battery, or the alarm with trip on. Since it is frozen, I would try and remove the fuse, and reinstall it to reset the stereo. Then try the code.
I got lucky in my 2001 VW passat, when the stereo code was needed, but then the next day it started working by itself.

1998 Audi A6 Quattro radio in safe mode

Er. That is why it is a *code*.
"There can only be one".

If you have no pin code you will have to pay the dealer to look it up in the database. If your radio is in the original vehicle, that should not be an issue.

I have never heard of anyone successfully 'hacking' an Audi radio code....

I just got a new battery for my audi a6 quatro

you will need to pull the radio out and get the serial number off the back of the radio unit. then call up your local VW/AUDI repair shop or dealer and ask them to look up the code for you. i had to do this last week with my VW jetta.

1998 AUDI QUATTRO BATTERY DIED. RADIO IS NOW IN SAFE MODE.

Unfortunately, if I am reading this problem properly, you have a Blaupunkt radio in your Audi. Disconnection from power source and reconnection without proper (un)locking code will result in the permanent disabling of said radio.

It's a common problem in factory Blaupunkt radios installed in Volvo's, BMW's Audi's, etc. A very effective anti-theft mechanism indeed!

How to input radio code for my s reg audi a4

Okay here are your radio options. Audi will charge about $125 to extract the code from the radio but you may try this first
1. Look in the owners manual. If the car has the original packet with the owners manual and other pamphlets, it is likely that the dealer wrote the code down and put it in there in the glove box.
2. Audi puts the 4 digit radio code on a sticker in the spare tire compartment in the truck. It is a four digit code that will begin with 1 or 0.
3. Audi will use the code 1111 as a default code on rebuilt or replaced radios. try that first.
4. still no luck.... go to the dealer and pay the $125 and have them extract it.

most of us techs write down the code after we instal the radio, in the owners manual in the radio section, however if you dont find it there tke copy of your title and registyation to an Aude delaer and they will be able 2 look for your code and instruction to recode your radio
