Vehicle starts runs for 1-2 minutes then quits, Starts right up. Fuel is being shut down.

Also what no one is mentioning is to make sure you have oil pressure, or that the oil pressure sensor is working, alot of newer vehicles run the fuel pumps off of them oil pressure sensor so if your vehicle stops pumping oil and lubricating, it shuts the fuel pump off to protect itself from damage or further damage

There may be a fuel pump relay that is toast, but I suspect the filter, off hand.
A plugged filter will overwork the pump and cause the engine to run rich.

P0466 2001 elantra. Won't allow proper fueling. Where to start

1st start by listening for vacuum leaks in hoses and your air intake manifold. 2nd run some Lucas Oil gas treament through your gas system to clean fuel injectors, revive seals, and etc. If that does not work, try replacing your fuel filter(The fuel filter is located under the rear seat in a compartment above the fuel tank. Also, a filter sock at the base of the fuel pump located in the fuel tank) as well as your fuel pump which is right there with your fuel filter. Hope this gets you at least started on the right path.

Where's the fuel filter for a nissan frontier 2wd 1998 I guess they'r 2...

the fuel filter is located just below the air filter on passenger side of the truck.lift up the hood anl take a look by the right front tire/passenger side. look right by the air filter or right front tire. the fuel filte is just below the air filter box assembly. its right next to the throttle body on passenger side/ r/h side of the truck. however i dont think that the problem you are having is caused by the fuel filter unless it hasent ben replaced since the truck was new.

Where is the 97 mark 8 fuel filter at

Go to your passenger side and the fuel rails can be seen right there near the edge of the car. Follow them down toward your tire and you will run right into the fuel filter.

Where is the fuel filter for a 2004 mazda 3 located

The fuel filter is located on the right hand side of the car .It is under a plastic shield just in front of the rear right side wheel . In some cars of mazda 3 the filter on Mazda 3 models is part of the fuel pump assembly.
The fuel filter on all Mazda cars can be located on a bracket in the left rear of the engine compartment, next to or beneath the brake master cylinder fluid reservoir or as part of the fuel pump assembly.

  2. Hose pincher - $4.07
  3. Flare nut wrench - $5.53

Open the hood and locate the fuel filter. If the fuel filter is not in the engine compartment, follow the fuel line from the tank until the fuel filter is located.

  • 1. Fuel filter in engine compartment.
  • 2. If the fuel filter has a clear case, inspect the filter element for dirt.

  • 3. If the fuel filter case is not see-through, remove it from the fuel line. Drain the fuel from the filter into a container and inspect the condition of the fuel.
  • Tip: Caution: Before removing fuel lines or fuel related parts, make sure that the fuel pressure is relieved from the vehicle fuel system. To relieve the pressure in fuel injected systems, remove the fuel pump fuse and run the engine

  • 4. Install the new fuel filter making sure that the flow is in the correct direction. The arrow on the fuel filter is the direction of flow from the tank to the engine.
  • 5. Secure the lines back onto the fuel filter. If applicable, reinstall the fuel pump fuse.
  • 6. Start the engine and check for fuel leaks.
  • 7. Test drive the vehicle to check for a rough running engine, hesitation, or lack of power.

Will run for a few minutes and then dies out, hard to restart, like gas is not flowing or something is stopping engine from running

Fuel filter. Could be something else but I doubt it. When the car isn't running the sediment in th filter settles to the bottom. When you start the car, the fuel pump pressurizes the filter and stirs up the dirt. As the fuel is pushed through the filter element the dirt is pressed into the element and starts building up there until the fuel flow is finally reduced too much for the car to run right. If letting the car sit for 30-45 minutes allows you to fire it right up then this is definately your problem. Hopefully it's just because the filter is old. If not then you may need to flush your fuel tank of sediment. Don't worry. Sounds scarier than it is. Takes very few tools and just a few hours.
