Why does my 2000 Ford Ranger stall frequently?

Hey Dave how's it going ? You very well may have a relay going bad but check the basics first ! Battery , cable connections , charging system output etc.. Had a ford focus I was checking out , had a relay behind the center of the dash clicking on an off really fast , the battery saver relay it was ! This relay was controlled by the GEM - generic electronic relay . I messed around replacing the relay , an the problem was still there . I then check the charging system an found it was over charging , took it to the parts an had it checked . Voltage regulator was bad .

Why does main relay buzz and gets no fuel?

the relay buzz indicates the contacts in the relay can`t make the proper contact to stay closed there for vibrate causing the buzz noise you hear. this is causing no fuel so you should check to see what is causing the relay not to close, such as too much draw in the system or weak voltage to the relay.

Relay makes buzzing noies

This is usually a sign that the contact points in the Relay are bad and the Relay needs replacement. Another problem can be the wiring to the Relay no longer connects a terminal to the Relay. The Relay would not lock or stay engaged and the Coil inside the Relay would buzz because it can not connect and engage the magnets inside the Relay coil.

Buzz from started relay

A low battery will cause this. Does it buzz with a known-good, fully-charged battery? If so, check the cables and terminals. Make sure they are all clean and tight. If there is still a problem, replace the solenoid (relay).

Relay for turn signal buzzes when turned on

The only reason that a relay buzzes is it is getting either a poor ground or a lack of power, clean your body grounding points and make sure you have a full 12v supply to the relay. If you have low voltage to the relay check the fuse and clean off any corrosion,if not that replace the turn signal switch./

Turn signal relay buzz

Relays buzz when they are not getting enough power either due to a power wire with a high resistance in it or a ground with the same problem, check the harness manually to see if you can find a loose or corroded conecter or ground point.
