Is there a video of a 2005 jeep grand cherokee radiator repair?

the quickest and most reliable way to repair it is to have it replaced at a radiator shop. Everything including the right concentration of anti freeze will be done and any air locks in the system will be removed before the car is handed back. Drive in and around 2 hours or less drive out with a guaranteed radiator and job.

Difficult to say since the standard replacement fee would not apply. You may have to just pay by the hour, usually half the professional rate.

I owne a 2005 Chrysler Towne & Country van with 3.8 liter V6 engine. The radiator has a small annoying leak in it. I am a good "shade tree" mechanic, but have never replaced this type of...

Its not that hard. Once you remove the upper radiator support everything will be a little more accessible. There will be two bolts that hold the a/c condenser to the radiator. Once those are removed pull up on the condenser to release it from the lower mounts and then let it rest in front of the radiator. Remove the fans from the radiator and the upper and lower hoses and the radiator will be ready to pull out.

It will take you about an hour to an hour and a half with a basic set of tools. Make sure you run the vehicle at idle with the cap off until it gets up to operating temp to get all the air out of the cooling system.

How long does it take to replace radiator in 97 cadillac catera

We replaced ours on a Deville and took 2 hours. You need to let it cool and drain the antifreeze, remove the upper motor mounts, etc. and everything that holds it in. Be careful about the alternator, it's close (check the alternator while you have the radiator out). Make sure that overheating is not the headgasket (I replaced the radiator just ot find th old one was OK. AND don't forget to add the pellets (any GM dealer has them).
