Power is pulled to none wen key on
Check the starter terminals. Sounds like a bad ground. Also, make positive the battery cables are really tight on the battery posts.
Did you disconnect the battery prior to removing the starter? If not, you may have blown one of the big fuses located on the same side as the battery cables.

Sounds like a bad ground. If the battery voltage does not drop when the starter is engaged, the starter is not getting the juice. Check the ground connection again. 90%

check that you do not have signal to s terminal on the starter, disconnect it and try hooking battery if starter turns there is an internal short in the starter,

Check your ground wire for battery where it connects to your frame.
Also check/clean the connections where the positive wire goes to the starter solenoid. Any connection you run into from the battery, clean them off with a wire brush or sandpaper.
Starter Solenoid can also be failing/dead, these can be tested for free at most auto part stores if you remove them from the vehicle.
