Abs lights on have scanned for codes. The dinging sound is because you have a malfunction in the system. It lets you know that there is a problem

Parking light wont go out and keeps dinging

Reach down and release the parking brake at the same time pull up on the parking brake pedal. Sometimes the pedal gets bumped just enough to engage the switch indicating the brake is engaged.

Can i disable the chime in my car via fuse? or is there a wire i can cut

Locate the door chime under the dash, normally on the drivers side just above the accelerator and brake pedal area and unplug the connector from the chime. No more DING DING DING DING DING DING DING DING!!

Hope that helps, Good Luck.

My brake light is on and it keeps ding ding dinging and its very anoying because the E-brake is off. my problem is i lost the cover for my fuse box under the dash, so i dont know what one to pull to stop...

First, do not attempt to bypass a safety related issue by pulling a fuse. The brake light and alarm signal is performing it's designed function by indicating a fault that needs to be corrected.

Check the brake system completely. The Brake fluid level sensor could be low. Now rather than just add fluid, keep in mind that the level may be low because the brakes are worn. Worn pads & shoes cause the calipers to extend which requires additional fluid, causing a "low" fluid level.

Also check to ensure the ABS sensors are OK.

under the dash at the E brake there will be a single wire should be TAN with a WHITE tracer (stripe) and a black connector disconnect that and the dinging should stop then you can replace that switch that you just disconnected
hope this helps

94 bonneville with dinging noise

Which light is on ? The ABS light or regular Brake light?
If ABS light is on, your ABS is currently not working and it might be an electrical problem.
If the regular brake light is on something is wrong with the hydralics in the brake system. Either way bring it in ASAP. Good luck

you will find a "chime" fuse in the fusebox located on drivers side of dash behind fuse door....pulling this fuse will stop the chime but it will also kill some of the idiot lights.....

Emergency break pedal stuck to floor, but break is disengaged

sounds like your brake cable has broken or there is something damaged in the pedal assembly.........try pulling on the release handle and move the e-brake pedal back to its off position by hand at the same time.(you may have to tie it in this position to keep it up)If that doesnt work there is a sensor on the pedal assembly that you should be able to bypass by either disconecting the wire(1 wire system) or connecting the two wires together (2 wire system)Especially if your truck is a standard the e-brake is an important safety feature,so if these steps fix the light and dinging problem you should still take the steps to have it repaired.
hope this helps.........Good Luck!
