Question about Toyota Tacoma
My truck is stuck in 4 wheel drive. i recently put new wheels and tires on the truck and when i had it lifted in the air i spun both tires to check my hub clearance. the passenger side spun freely but the drivers side did not so i took the wheel of and spun the hub alone to see if it was the wheel or something more complex such as the 4 wheel drive or breaking system. the hub spins about a quarter turn and stops as if its in gear or the 4 wheel drive is engaged, but only on the drivers side. Vacuum line? cv joint or u joints? sure could use some advice. im new to the toyota world and wanting to gain more knowledge on the set up and schematics of these trucks
I need to know the year and if your 4X4 is electronic or manual shifter.
Most older 4X4 Toyotas have manual hub lock.you will find on the hub lock and unlock position
