Question about 2007 Mercedes-Benz SLK350 Roadster Convertible
Dash control would need to be reset at mercedes garage can cost anything with this depending mainly on dash you have fitted sometimes its a chip can be replaced or its the hole dash needs to be replaced really depends on when they think will do. day time runners that will also depend on the lights you have most are led fitted into the lights and cannot be changed if they go wrong and only a new set of lights will have this extra in them. you can do it your self but if you damage the lense getting it off it would be a new light needed. would think buy now you can buy them with them fitted and just change them over you would need to put a new relay and fuse and wire into the wiring on the lights to make them work off the main ignition wires some 2007 models have the wires all there just no fuse or relay fitted. just depends on what end of 2007 yours is or if its a 2006 reged to 2007. you would need to check this. if you know your puck code you may be able to get a normal garage to set the speedo up for you. if you bought from new you should have this 4 or six number in your paper work its used for engine -abs - etc so they can be changed and re programed to you vehicle.

first thing I would try, disconnect the battery to the car for a minute, then reconnect it. that may correct your problem.

Testimonial: "Thank you so much! That was the fix no one (else) could give me on a Sunday. Now I need the code to unlock the stereo... I will check with Mercedes."
By having it scanned and cleared with an OBD tool. This light comes on when it detects a problem. Could be a bad gas cap, or it could be a misfiring engine. The code you get from having it scanned will pinpoint the trouble area

Check one of the fuses in the bonnet. There is most likely an electrical contact problem. You will need a fuse wire replacement
