I had the same problem, engine misfire usually a bad injector or spark plug will give a blinking engine light.

A loose gas cap can set off that light. many things can. . frm a hole in filler tube to somthing in the computer settin it off for something . have to have a mechanic run the diagnostics on it . will tell u why its on

Turn the ignition switch on off on off on off on. After the third time the check engine light should start blinking codes. It will start with 12. That is the start of codes code. It will end with 55. That is the end of codes code. You just want to know what codes are inbetween 12 and 55
