Question about Porsche 911
Depending on the type there is a motor or magnetic pin system. motors can fail and the magnetic pin type well they can rust up or even the grease in them can freeze up and stop movement. also on some models there is a auto mode this will activate the spoiler at certain speeds. these are prone for failure, for some reason they stop reading the speedo , then in auto or in manual it will not work. also in cold weather you should have it turn'd off... this is recommended from porsche something about only use in above temps of 6.0c 42.8F is minimum low temp. the temp sensor on some turn off the spoiler controls at this speed or a faulty temp sensor not reading the right temp will do this.
