Question about 2002 Volkswagen Beetle Turbo S
My 2002 volkswagon beetle says that the trunk is open but it is not. When I lock the door using the key, i do not hear the beeping sound like it normally does. It also then sometimes makes the alarm go off because it thinks someone is trying to break into the car. Any idea what is wrong and what i can do to fix it?
The switch in the trunk which tells the alarm that the trunk lid is closed is either defective or not correctly adjusted. If this info is of no help to you, than you don't know enough to fix it. Take it to a reputable VW shop for repair.
