I have a problem playing cd's in my 08 toyota 4runner

If the lable is stuck inside, the unit will have to be opened unless you are able to pull it out with a twizer or a long pin. Obviously it is coming in the way for CD to be read.

have you tried disconnecting the battery cables? if this does not work, a CD may be stuck in it! You will have to remove the changer and open it up to remove the cd!

I have a 2005 Ford 500. I have twoo CD"S stuck in the player. How do I remove them?

If the two cd's which are stuck, if you can see that cd's then pull the cd with pliers. Its a two mouth pliers to pull the things out.The cd may get cracked/ break while removing. But if the cd's are not seen or its very hard stuck, then in that case. The cd player has to be removed out of dash.Yes it will be time consuming, and will not be very simple. But once the player is out, its not much to do.The cd player bottom has few screws to be removed.Once you remove the screws, the complete top assembly will get lifted. You can say" complete casing" will be lifted.Once the casing is out.You will visually see the cd, and you can manually slide the cd out and remove it.---------- ---------- Click this link for cd player removing procedure from dash :--------- http://whoisbyme.blogspot.com/2011/08/how-to-remove-cd-player-from-dash-of.html ----------- This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.

My 2002 mercury cougar radio cd player says cd error and i have 2 cd's in there. it also will not load or eject them. what shoud i do?!?!

sometimes blank CDs that you purchase to burn your own music on are slightly larger than the CDs used by recording studios - they can get stuck and the only solution is to remove the CD player and then remove the top and carefully work the CD/s out being careful not to damage anything inside - then do not use them again in your vehicles CD player

Cd is stuck in cd player how to remove

Remove the unit with the Ford radio removal tools. Take off the top cover of the player by removing the tiny screws and tilt the rear up as tabs anchor the front. Be careful of the sharp edges. You may have to coax it out as you hit the eject button. Be very careful not to damage any interior parts. If in doubt, have a dealer or stereo repair shop do it for you. If you have warranty left, leave it to a professional. Some cheap cd's that you burn at home like to get stuck after they are left in the unit for a long time and are exposed to the excessive heat.

My CD won't eject from my car radio.

theres a rubber belt that works with the eject function. you must remove the radio from car, usually there 2 screws that keeps the cover in place, then theres 4 screws that holds the cd unit in place , be care full on some of the models there is a flex cable under the unit that you need to remove very care full the belt should sit on the side of the unit replace this belt. It also sounds like your lens is dirty try to move the lens in a position so it can be reached with a ear cleaner, "cotton on a stick" use Methylated Spirits or isoponyl clean gently...You can get the isoponyl from pharmacy. Hope this help

2004 Jetta CD Player Won't Read CD's

I had the same problem when I first got it.  I realized that the problem was the CD I was putting in.  The CD player will NOT read burned RW CDs.  I hope that helps!  But it will read burned R CDs and ones from the store.

HU 850 CD stuck in player

One thing about Volvo CD player/changers...they tend to not like burned CDs and even more, burned CDs with labels on them.

I'd suggest against trying to get it out yourself.

You can get it replaced and the dealership should have a form so you can get your CDs sent back.
